Hi, I'm Kara!

I am the owner of Baked by KAJ and first discovered pottery at a local community center, where I signed up for a class just to try something new. I quickly fell in love with the process, and what began as a hobby soon became my favorite thing and a creative outlet I can’t imagine living without!

Today as Baked by KAJ, I make a variety of handmade pottery pieces including mugs, snack bowls, garlic graters, vases and more. Each piece is crafted with care and designed to be functional. No two items are ever exactly the same and I love that each one carries its own unique character.

For me, pottery is more than just creating, it’s about sharing art that people can use, enjoy and make a part of their daily lives.
